Sophia- CNA
Hi I am Sophia, I am originally born and raised in the Quad Cities and have just recently in the last year and a half moved to the Des Moines area. With me in Des Moines is my boyfriend and 2 dogs that I love spending my time with outside of work. I have been in the healthcare field going on 6 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant where I’ve spent most of those years working in long term care and memory care. I have experience in Rehab and assisted living care as well as working in Home health and ChildServe. I moved to Des Moines to embark in a career being a flight attendant but quickly realized my heart belongs in health care. I very much enjoy being around my residents and or friends and assisting them with their needs. I love to have conversations and get to know them on a personal level as well. I will be continuing my education in nursing coming up in the spring to further my knowledge and become an RN. My dream is to work on the Pediatric Oncology unit in the future in a children’s hospital. When I’m not at work I’m either at Paws and Pints or watching sports. I am a huge Packer fan and also cheer for Illinois football and basketball. I enjoy spending my free time traveling home to be with my family or being outside with the dogs.
